Last winter, more than 120 community volunteers provided over 31,000 hours and 112 nights of shelter serving more than 1,000 guests. Starting Sunday, November 12, 2017, “no frills” overnight winter shelters will be offered in Ashland! There are many ways volunteers may serve:

1. In the evening (2 hours) from 7:30-9:30pm, welcome and sign in guests. Help them settle in and offer a warm cup of tea and an ear to listen.
2. Overnight (12.5 hours) from 7:30pm-8am, along with a second co-host, oversee guests for the night and respond to needs that arise.
3. In the morning (1.5 hours) from 6:30-8am, help guests get up and on their way, then help Hosts do a quick clean up.
