ACPC and the Ashland School District (ASD) have been working cooperatively since 2016.  This liaison has included participation of elementary school students in the celebration of the International Day of Peace in 2016 and 2017. 

In addition, David Wick, ACPC’s Director and Patricia Sempowich, ACPC’s Education Commissioner have participated in the ASD’s Title IX development.

Currently we are engaged in creating a Peace Club at Ashland High School which will encourage young adults’ participation and facilitation in peacebuilding. 

 

This working relationship between ACPC and ASD increases community connection and outreach.
