As ACPC increases its outreach, an important population is the next generation. Through the creation of peace clubs In Ashland’s middle and high schools, ACPC anticipates representation of community youth in our organization.

 

Developing peace clubs in our secondary schools will give students a sense of making a difference that is meaningful and which will affect their values.  Learning peacebuilding skills during adolescence provides students with tools that are not only applicable to peace leadership but may influence their choices throughout their post high school years.  Potentially, the establishment of peace clubs in our secondary schools, will offer much community support.
